Description
The Bakhtiari live in the mountainous part of Khuzistan and Isfahan provinces in Iran. The rug shows a floral diamond pattern in feather shaped frames.
The design was retrieved from the Muskabad archives of Louis De Poortere and given the distressed treatment.
